Although SSRIs are one of the most commonly prescribed classes of medications, many do not fully understand the association between them & bleeding. Although this association is not usually clinically relevant, understanding it is requisite for the competent provider. The purpose of this post will be to discuss this association, it’s underlying mechanism, clinical implications, and how it ultimately affects patient care.
